It all began at the age of 5 when Dana Hukel realized she was meant to run her own business. It took almost 30 years of learning everything she possibly could from experts (and sometimes not-so-experts) in the ad world to make it a reality.
Once dream transitioned to reality, the naming process began. Dana wanted to be somewhat obvious in what services the company would provide (hence, marketing) and then demonstrate how this company would rival its competition in all deliverables (there you have BOLD).
The next step was to hire fabulous, creative and dedicated professionals to offset Dana’s weaknesses (she does have a few) and blend together a BOLD group of stars who develop, execute and measure any marketing plan with pizazz.
Thanks to a strong background in healthcare marketing and service line development, BOLD Marketing began with several clients in the medical field and quickly spread into all aspects of retail, private, agriculture and nonprofit marketing. In January 2011, the BOLD team constructed a 5-year strategic plan for the company that was nearly 3/4 complete in 6 months. Yeah, we are pretty proud of that.
The credit goes to our team who are proud to call themselves BOLD and to the many clients who trust us with their marketing efforts all while holding our feet to the fire to produce results. It’s a great environment. We are blessed, we are BOLD and we have a ping pong table in the office!
